I sat down with a pair of scissors and lots of brown paper and started cutting out geometric shapes. Playing with the pieces. Laying the shapes out in different ways, experimenting with torn and cut paper, variations in scale, a patchwork feeling, a sense of depth, a flat feeling, and asymmetrical geometrics.
It was a really interesting experiment and something that I think I'll be weaving into my creative process.
This resulted in a collection of 8 hand crafted, paper-cut, seamless patterns. You can find them here: Paper Cut Geometric Seamless Patterns.
